philly

so i'm feeling a lot better today - my throat is still a little sore but i'll live.  there was so much going on last week that i'm dying to tell you about.  i've already showed you my girls weekend in savannah but that's not the only place I went as you know from my previous post.  i headed up north to philadelphia.  you would think i would want to go visit the liberty bell or independence hall but i didn't.  i just wanted to experience the non historic part of philly and let me tell you it was like nothing i've seen before.  there was this one part of town that was made up of nothing but recycled materials like broken glass, bike tires, and even entire toilets - it was crazy but beautiful at the same time.  the flowers that lined the streets brought so much color to the city.  i can't say i'll ever go back because i think i saw everything i wanted too but it's another city checked off my list.
