what a delicious weekend

this past thursday my husband had surgery done so this whole weekend i played nurse/maid.  by sunday night i was ready to go back to work (haha i kid, i kid). anyways over the weekend i did a lot of cooking in the kitchen. for example i made homemade strawberry ice cream since i knew tyler's surgery was coming soon we decided to order an ice cream maker which was the best decision we ever made.  the maker also came with a Ben and Jerry's How To book. Yay! but then after his surgery the nurse informed us that he was not allowed dairy products the first couple of days so there went our plans. i went ahead and made the ice cream here anyways he just wasn't able to have any until saturday. on sunday morning i got up early and made apple muffins here and all i can say is OMG!
